Parking

If you decide to drive, plan to come early as the parking lot surrounding the stadium fills quickly due to the numerous tailgate parties and the halftime show fireworks. The city of San Diego controls the stadium parking lot and parking fees for the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl are $20 for cars and $60 for RV's (vehicles 20’ and over,). You must tailgate only in your designated parking space. Because of limited total space, fans are encouraged to carpool, use the San Diego Trolley or bus transportation.

 

VIP Preferred Parking $60
A limited number of VIP parking passes are available for $60 each. VIP parking includes a space in the secure, fenced-in C1/D1 lot, just inside the main gates of the stadium. You have a guaranteed spot in this lot, no matter what time you plan to arrive, along with a dedicated in and out lane for easy access and egress from the stadium. Supplies are limited, so order yours today by calling 619-285-5061.

Purchase Deadline
If you are planning on having your parking pass mailed, you must purchase the pass by December 15. If you wish to purchase a pass after December 15, you will need to come to the bowl office and buy it in person prior to game-day. Parking passes will not be available for purchase on game day.
  

*GAME-DAY PARKING ADVISORY*

With only 14,000 spaces for 66,000 seats at Qualcomm Stadium, the stadium parking lot is expected to be full two hours before game time. If you are planning on driving to the stadium, we strongly urge you to carpool with four people or more and to arrive two or three hours before game time.

Overflow Parking Areas
We encourage fans to research alternative traffic routes when attending the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. Interstate 15 to Friars Rd is the most congested traffic artery into Qualcomm Stadium and can expect heavy traffic and major delays. We strongly urge fans to arrive early, carpool or use the San Diego Trolley. The stadium parking lot can be expected to close almost two hours prior to kickoff during events with capacity crowds. San Diego State University: From I-8, exit College Avenue and go south. Paid visitor parking is available in designated campus lots. Parking rates vary by location. Take the San Diego Trolley from the SDSU Transit Center to access the Stadium.

Mission City Corporate Center: (2365 Northside Dr. , adjacent to the stadium) Take Friars Road west to Northside Drive. Parking is $30.

Marriott Mission Valley: Take Friars Rd. and exit Qualcomm Way to Rio San Diego Dr. Parking is $15. Take the San Diego Trolley to access the Stadium from the Rio Vista Station.

Town and Country Hotel: Continue on Friars Rd. West past Fashion Valley Mall and exit Fashion Valley Rd. Parking is $15. Take the San Diego Trolley from the Fashion Valley Station to access the Stadium.
