Make-A-Wish
San Diego County Credit Union once again designated the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego as the beneficiary of the Poinsettia Bowl. $1 from every game ticket is donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego and last year they were presented with a check for $46,000.

More than 600 members of the “Make-A-Wish Family", including wish children, their parents and siblings, and the foundation’s dedicated volunteers attended the Poinsettia Bowl as special guests. They enjoyed a private tailgate party and were provided sweatshirts, prizes and a great block of seats. 50 members of the wish family participated in the pre-game parade on the field and six lucky kids were invited to serve in the roles of honorary team captains, national anthem singers, coin tosser and tee runner. The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl is proud to keep the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego as the beneficiary of the 2007 game.
